Therapy vs. Coaching Confidentiality

• Coaching services are not therapy and are not governed by HIPAA. However, your information is treated with respect and kept private except where disclosure is required by law.

Emily Capuria is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) in the State of Ohio and provides therapy services only to clients located in Ohio through Balance & Thrive, LLC.
Coaching programs, online courses, and speaking engagements offered under Emily Capuria are not therapy, and participation in them does not create a therapist-client relationship. Coaching is a collaborative, educational process focused on personal growth and goal setting.
